Global executive search firm, Marlin Hawk, has announced it is acquiring Winter Circle, the invitation-only digital network for senior executives. The two companies will create The Marlin Hawk Group, representing a dynamic shift in one of the last industries to be disrupted. Responding to market and client demands, the Group has carved a niche in the industry in its ability to provide full-service executive search, alongside direct solutions, which will empower internal executive search teams through technology.
The move has come through the company's belief that the traditional industry model needs to change. The two companies are coming together to provide clients with a unique suite of executive search and leadership advisory services. As a united force, The Marlin Hawk Group will offer the full spectrum of executive hiring, from executive search and organisational analysis to direct solutions and access to an exclusive digital network of senior leaders.
Marlin Hawk was founded 15 years ago by David Holloway. The company is now a world-renowned executive search business, and enjoyed a record year in 2017 with net fee income up 25 per cent. The company also saw increased revenue growth globally, in the US business led by Mark Oppenheimer, and in the international business led by John-Claude Hesketh. Built on a philosophy of challenging industry norms, its clients include Goldman Sachs, Delta Airlines and Unilever.
Winter Circle was founded in 2015 to change the way that the world's leading companies and best talent meet. The invitation-only digital network connects leading executives with opportunities, ideas and intelligence, and has welcomed members from all over the world. It has had a successful first commercial year working with companies like Microsoft, Visa and Coupang.
