Ten directors, incuding five newcomers have been appointed by APSCo Australia at the Association’s Annual General Meeting.
Suzanne Gerrard, General Manager ANZ - Manpower/Experis, James Liley, Vice President ANZ - Frank Recruitment Group, Bronwyn Murphy, Director, Quality & Compliance - Global Medics, Stephen Smith, CEO/Managing Director - Sirius Technology and Stephen Veness, Group Manager, Projects & Operations - Davidson Group, all join as newly-elected Directors of the Association.
Nick Bacon, Regional Manager - Clicks IT Recruitment, John McCluskey, Owner/Managing Director – Whizdom, Nicole Shepherd, General Manager - Ignite Services, Jason Trevethick, Management Executive - Paxus and TalentCru and Anthony Whyte, General Manager - Talent International, were re-elected as Directors.
“I am very pleased to announce the appointment of our five new Directors,” says APSCo Australia managing director, Julie Mills. “Our newly elected Directors represent the expanding breadth of the specialisms of APSCo – which is an exciting outcome for the Association.”
APSCo Australia President, Richard Fischer, Managing Director Australia, New Zealand & New Caledonia, ManpowerGroup, Vice President Peter Acheson, CEO, Peoplebank Australia Ltd and Damien Ross, Executive Engagement, Davidson Group have retired, having fulfilled their elected terms of Directorship.
“I would like to acknowledge our three retiring Directors; Richard, Peter and Damien for the time, energy and wealth of experience and professionalism they have brought to APSCo Australia, and historically ITCRA, during their terms of directorship. Collectively, they added more than 30 years’ of Directorship, and our Association owes them much gratitude,” added Mills.
The retiring directors were recognised at a farewell dinner, joined by APSCo Global CEO Ann Swain, on Wednesday evening.
Jason Trevethick, Management Executive - Paxus and TalentCru will fulfil the role of Vice President of the Association, while the newly ratified Directors will commence a process to appoint a new President to lead the Association in 2018 and beyond.
