Bullhorn has deployed a new data centre in Singapore to ensure optimum performance levels for its growing client base in Asia Pacific (APAC). The company has invested over $1 million to install a data centre, working exclusively with local manufacturers and resellers for all hardware needs. The company has partnered with Equinix – a major global data service provider – to provide the IT infrastructure, which will consist of approximately 140 physical and virtual servers. The data centre will be Equinix’s newest facility in Singapore and will be up and running in July 2018.
Bullhorn has seen significant business growth in the region over the last two years, with a 50 per cent growth in user base since the start of 2017, and almost 100 per cent year-over-year growth in net new customers in Singapore. As a result, the company has doubled the size of its support team in its Sydney-based headquarters over the past year, while the overall team has doubled in size in the past 18 months. The new Singapore data centre will be one of Bullhorn’s five data centres, operating alongside those in Boston, Las Vegas, Grand Rapids, and London.
With a physical data centre dedicated to the region, customers will experience even faster response times in the Bullhorn system. All maintenance and serviceability for Asia Pacific customers will now run through this dedicated data centre, with product releases and maintenance performed automatically during non-business hours. “The opening of the data centre in Singapore signifies a coming of age for Bullhorn’s business in APAC”, said Matt Webster, managing director, Enterprise Solutions at Bullhorn. “The significant investment in this data centre demonstrates our commitment to our customers in the region and our long-term growth plans within the region. Our partnerships with top recruitment companies in the region, such as PERSOLKELLY, have contributed to our recent success. This new data centre will benefit PERSOLKELLY’s team throughout Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia – along with all of our other customers in the region.”
Taka Yamazaki, CEO at PERSOLKELLY added, “PERSOLKELLY is committed to expansion in the Asia Pacific region. We are happy Bullhorn is supporting this commitment by opening a new data centre in Singapore. We’re excited that our partnership with Bullhorn will help us achieve our growth plans and manage existing relationships within the region.”
