Davidson has announced that entries are now open and nominations can be submitted for the Top 50 Public Sector Women (Victoria). The awards come as a result of the potential Davidson’s Executive and Boards team and HR Consulting business could see across local and state government, and statutory authorities. Te business is clear that the Victorian public sector has a significant number of exceptional female leaders and felt it was important to shine a spotlight on these inspirational people.
“We wanted to be able to highlight the work of these outstanding female leaders. They are not only building high performing teams and transforming their communities, they are also role models for other females working in the Victorian public sector,” said Clare McCartin, Davidson Executive’s Victorian general manager. “We are also thrilled at the very high calibre of our judging panel, it is made up of a cross section of high level public sector officials, specifically chosen for their breadth of experience across government in Victoria.”
The panel will be chaired by Rebecca McKenzie, chief executive officer, City of Glen Eira, who is an accomplished leader with a successful career at executive level across three countries and three sectors. Rebecca is a values based leader who invests in her people building strong relationships at all levels, and acts as a mentor and coach for emerging leaders in the sector.
