Airswift has hired Meredith Morris as business development manager for global mobility to drive North American sales following a growth in the energy and process sectors. Based in Houston, Morris will be responsible for expanding Airswift’s global mobility offering in the Americas – creating opportunities for the Airswift team to safely, efficiently and compliantly mobilise personnel into and out of the continent.

Morris boasts an extensive mobility network and knowledge base. She joins Airswift from a major global relocation management firm where she held the role of business development manager for four years, working with a range of Fortune 100 companies. Morris has also gained professional recognition as a Certified Relocation Specialist and Global Mobility Specialist with the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council and serves on the Board of Directors for Houston Relocation Professionals.

Beth Bowen, SVP of global sales at Airswift, said: “As energy and process companies expand into developing locales, they need experienced partners to help them navigate complex relocation and immigration challenges. Our dedicated team offers clients the confidence to grow their global operations knowing that all personnel requirements are being handled efficiently and compliantly. Meredith’s hire positions us for major growth in this area – taking our global mobility service from strength to strength.”

Airswift’s global mobility service supports the compliance, security and assignment requirements needed to ensure personnel arrive safely and compliantly on-site when needed. From handling global immigration requirements, to ensuring all relocation package elements are covered, Airswift’s team of mobility specialists ensures safe, efficient and cost-effective mobility operations.

Morris adds: “What attracted me to Airswift was its first-class comprehensive offering that taps into local knowledge. The fact that we work side-by-side with clients as an outsourced global employment organisation means businesses can enter new markets quicker, remain compliant and reduce risk – all through a single supplier. And that’s what’s needed in today’s fast-paced energy and infrastructure markets.”
