The RCSA’s annual conference is set to be held between September 5 and 7 at Noosa on Queensland’s gorgeous Sunshine Coast. The theme of this year’s conference is The Art of Work – Creative ideas for a brighter future. The conference will look at where the recruitment sector is heading and the critical trends recruiters need to be aware of an as industry.

Helping to explore this theme will be respected businessman Andrew Banks, best known for his role on the television show The Shark Tank. Banks was the founder of two of Australia’s largest recruitment companies – Morgan & Banks and Talent2 International. Banks is passionate about nurturing entrepreneurial spirit and believes the willingness to take risks contributes to a person’s wealth, creativity and their contribution to society.

Joining Banks will be other keynote speakers, with more to be announced later:

  • Davidson’s National Group Manager Clare McCartin
  • Social analyst David Chalke
  • Greg Savage from the Savage Sells Series
  • Philanthropist Keith Badger

Across the conference:

  • There will be 300 delegates from across the Australian and New Zealand recruitment sectors
  • 85 per cent of them will be business owners, managers or directors
  • There will be 18 hours of learning, ideas and inspiration through keynote speakers and conference sessions
  • Tickets include entry to three conference events (including a gala boat cruise on Noosa River) and two networking lunches 
  • The average temperature in Noosa in September is 27 degrees

“This will be the premiere networking event of the year for the Australian and New Zealand recruitment and staffing sector,” RCSA CEO Charles Cameron said. “And we can’t think of a better spot to talk about the connection between work and creativity than beautiful Noosa.
