PRISM extension

Recruiters and end clients invited to join

PRISM extension

UK & Europe

The work that PRISM now carries out, and the relationships we have developed across stakeholder groups, extends beyond the interests of just payment intermediaries operating in the market and in many cases, will be informing and influencing direction of the sector as a whole.

As a result of this we are extending our membership offering, with an affiliated membership programme, to include both recruitment companies, end clients and suppliers with a keen interest to become involved and shape the debate on the future world of work.

CEO Crawford Temple commented: ‘This is an exciting development for PRISM and recognises the significant ground we have covered. We have already been working closely with a number of recruitment companies and both they and us have found this beneficial which is why the decision was made to extend an invitation of membership to a wider group.’

The Executive Committee of PRISM has now made places available on the committee for representatives of a recruitment company, end client and supplier to ensure our views in this wide-reaching subject align for all market segments.

Damian Broughton, a member of the PRISM Executive Committee commented; – ‘The influence of Prism in the market place, with stakeholders and with policy makers is growing. Prism has always endeavoured to be an inclusive body and so we are now opening up our membership to include recruitment companies, end clients and suppliers. With the publication of the Taylor Review and the extensive commentary around the Gig economy, now is the time to get involved, influence policy and be informed. It is essential that we are at the forefront of the debate pressing our case. We can’t wait for the release of a discussion document that’s too late as the direction of travel has already been determined.’

Affiliated members will receive priority invites to events that PRISM organises, such as the Panel Debate in The House of Commons on 5th September, as well as regular press and political updates on the commentary surrounding these critical areas.

PRISM will also extend an invitation to our affiliated members to become involved in future independent research projects, such as the recent Social Market Foundation report on employment and self-employment, providing the opportunity to inform and influence direction.
