The Association of Professional Staffing Companies in Australia (APSCo Australia) has received more than 100 registrations for its revamped Recruitment Professional Certification program since launching four weeks ago. The self-managed, knowledge-based Certification program is designed to inform and update recruitment professionals throughout their career and equip them with the compliance knowledge and support to significantly drive their conversations with clients and candidates to achieve best-practice processes and support commercial success.
More than 50 per cent of APSCo Members previously Certified before the makeover, have accepted the opportunity to undertake a short form renewal process to maintain their Certified Recruitment Professional status.
According to APSCo Australia managing director Julie Mills the Association is now half-way towards reaching its target of one APSCo Australia Certified Recruitment Professional in each location of each Member company.
APSCo Australia will recognise one Certified Recruitment Professional, based on their results, at the Association’s Awards for Excellence, presented at this year’s Gala Dinner on Thursday October 18 in Melbourne.
Recruitment Professionals who complete their Certification before Friday the 31st of August with a pass result will still be eligible for the Award, sponsored by DaXtra Technologies.
