This month Davidson Technology’s will have been operating in New Zealand for three years. Having identified New Zealand as a digital and technology hot spot in South East Asia, Davidson Technology established its first office in Auckland in 2014.
For Bruce Davidson, CEO of Davidson Group, the move was simple. “When you’re running a highly successful technology recruitment business in Australia, it makes sense that you look to other markets in your region to grow into and expand. The New Zealand Tech market is dynamic, vibrant and early adopters and somewhere we felt real synergies with.
“Over the past three years we have worked with many leading businesses in New Zealand to help them to build their technology teams,” he adds. “Our business has grown into larger offices and we have broadened our areas of specialisation to include: PMO, Infrastructure & Service Delivery, Digital and Software Development; and Enterprise Systems.”
Davidson says a pivotal point of the company’s growth strategy has been the recent appointment of Nicola Connolly to lead our business development across the country. With over fifteen years’ experience in recruitment and HR services, she has launched a number of international HR services companies most recently Adecco and Monroe Consulting in Vietnam. Nicola’s extensive business development skills and strong commercial acumen position her perfectly to lead Davidson’s Auckland team into their fourth successful year.
“It’s an exciting time to be working with the New Zealand Tech industry particularly with the Government’s investment strategy looking to attract more Tech businesses and further cement New Zealand’s position as a significant Tech hub for the region,” says Connolly
“With Nicola in the team and the appetite in the New Zealand market for exceptional Tech talent, Davidson Technology is well positioned for continued growth. Best of all, we are recruiting the next generation of Tech leaders which is really exciting,” concludes Davidson.
